“Vikalp’s Janmashtami Celebration: A Joyful Tribute to Krishna’s Life and Lessons. A beautiful fusion of devotion, culture, and creativity, reflecting the spirit of tradition and celebration.”
On August 27, 2024, Vikalp celebrated Janmashtami with great enthusiasm. The event took place in LT-4 from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM and was attended by 41 students. The celebration was a blend of cultural performances focused on Lord Krishna.
The event commenced with a soulful rendition of devotional songs including “Achyutam Keshavam,” which set a spiritually uplifting tone for the gathering. Following this, students performed a lively dance to the popular song “Vo Kisna Hai,” adding a vibrant and energetic touch to the occasion.
A highlight of the celebration was the Krishna Leela act, where students enacted various episodes from Lord Krishna’s life, bringing to life the divine stories with enthusiasm and creativity. This was followed by a heartfelt poem recitation by a volunteer, paying tribute to Lord Krishna. Adding to the festive atmosphere, students participated in a fashion walk dressed as Lord Krishna and Radha.
