On August 11, 2024, Vikalp volunteers embarked on a comprehensive village outreach program aimed at re-engaging the local community following the summer break. The initiative sought to inform residents about the organization’s reopening and inspire a new wave of student enrollments. Central to the program’s objective was to reinforce Vikalp’s unwavering commitment to providing accessible, high-quality education to the village’s youth.
The outreach commenced at 2:00 PM from Gate No. 2 of SMVDU, with a dedicated team of 15 volunteers canvassing the Sirah Colony, Sool, and neighboring areas. Through face-to-face interactions, the volunteers actively engaged with community members, dispelling any doubts or uncertainties about Vikalp’s operations. By fostering open dialogue, the team effectively communicated the organization’s mission and demonstrated its dedication to educational empowerment. The outreach concluded at 5:00 PM at the same location after visiting approximately 40 to 50 households.
Recognizing the profound impact of such initiatives, Vikalp intends to implement additional village outreach programs in the future. By expanding its reach and engaging with a wider segment of the community, the organization aims to maximize student enrollment and optimize the benefits derived from its educational services.
